The Road Safety Awareness Week was successfully conducted at the District Police Parade Grounds, Puttaparthi, from 13 January 2025 to 19 January 2025, with daily awareness programmes held between 9:00 AM and 12:30 PM. The week-long campaign was organized by the District Administration and Traffic Police to promote responsible road usage and reduce traffic accidents. The programme included awareness rallies, helmet and seatbelt campaigns, traffic rule demonstrations, road safety pledge ceremonies, street plays, and interactive sessions for students, drivers, and the general public. Through these activities, participants were encouraged to follow traffic regulations, avoid overspeeding and distracted driving, and contribute to creating safer roads across Sri Sathya Sai District.
The Haritha Haram plantation programme was successfully organized at the District Collectorate Campus, Puttaparthi, on 15 July 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The initiative witnessed active participation from district officials, students, volunteers, environmental organizations, and members of the public. Hundreds of saplings were planted across the campus and nearby public spaces to promote environmental conservation, increase green cover, and enhance ecological sustainability.
